Artistic Bio

Member of the 2021 Seedbed cohort by Stopgap.

2020 to 2021 MSc Nutrition and Exercise science at the University of Central Lancashire. My focus is on improving the access to science based dance training and nutritional knowledge for dancers.

In 2019/2020 I danced in Dance Syndrome’s project Co-Create. Co-create allowed a disabled choreographer & emerging artist to create a performance piece, while having access to dancers.

After graduating in 2019, to further my knowledge, I joined a professional artistic further education program in mixed-abled dance education. Thru tiannual intensives we (disabled & non-disabled dancers) explore studio practice and theory with various dance artists. You can find more information on this under M.A.D.E. in my work.

Since 2017 I have taught different classes including creative dance sessions in primary schools, technique classes in a high school, ballet for university students and Progressing Ballet Technique at all levels from primary school to college dancers.

From 2016 to 2019 I completed the BA (Hons) Dance Performance and Teaching at the University of Central Lancashire, UK. My dissertation focused on the implementation of imagery into technique classes to improve technique and performance skills.

My pre-professional training took place in Germany completing a Higher education preparation course (Studienvorbereitende Ausbildung Tanz) as well as training in South Africa.
